Partie 1 · Ce que vaut l'entreprise
Vue d'ensemble
Teleperformance is the world's largest provider of outsourced customer experience services: companies pay it to answer, chat with and support their own customers, using its call-centre and digital-service staff instead of hiring an in-house team. Beyond that core Customer Experience Management activity, a smaller Specialized Services arm covers content moderation for online platforms, interpretation and translation, visa and consular processing, debt collection and recruitment outsourcing.
Comment l'entreprise gagne de l'argent
Teleperformance signs long-term, often multi-year contracts with corporate clients and bills per interaction handled, per hour staffed or per outcome achieved — largely labour-driven revenue rather than product sales. Once its staff and technology are embedded in a client's support workflow across specific languages and time zones, moving to a rival means retraining and requalifying an entire operation, which favours renewal over switching. Growth in 2025 was modest, at 1.3% like-for-like.
Chiffre d'affaires par segment
Answering calls, chats and messages on behalf of client companies across sectors such as technology, telecom, financial services and retail.
Higher-value services distinct from standard customer support: content moderation and trust-and-safety for online platforms, interpretation, visa processing, debt collection and recruitment outsourcing.
Avantage concurrentiel
Économies d'échelle · ÉtroitTeleperformance is the largest company in its industry by revenue, with operations spanning around a hundred countries and languages that smaller rivals cannot match on a single contract. That reach lets it serve multinational clients from one supplier across every market they operate in, though the underlying work of staffing call centres is not itself hard for a competitor to replicate.
Ce qui stimule la demande
Modérément cycliqueDemand follows clients' own customer-interaction volumes and their decisions to outsource rather than staff support in-house, which can rise in downturns as companies cut costs or fall if clients bring services back in-house or automate them. A handful of large technology and telecom clients account for a meaningful share of revenue, so their business cycles matter more than the broader economy.
Les arguments en faveur
Buyers argue that Teleperformance's scale and long-standing multi-year contracts across around a hundred countries make it the default partner for multinational clients, that Specialized Services such as content moderation and interpretation diversify revenue beyond commoditized call-centre work, and that AI tools bought at scale can lower its own costs rather than only replacing it.
Les arguments contre
Sellers worry that generative AI can automate much of the routine customer support Teleperformance sells today, that revenue is concentrated among a limited number of large technology and telecom clients whose own budgets set the pace of growth, and that 2025's low single-digit like-for-like growth signals a maturing, price-competitive market.
