Weibo's Ad Comeback, AI Bets Can't Keep Profit From Plunging

Weibo Corporation (WB) saw its stock decline despite Q4 revenue exceeding analyst expectations. While revenue reached $629.7 million, surpassing the $621.3 million consensus, the company reported an Earnings Per Share (EPS) of $0.43, falling short of the $0.50 forecast. This earnings miss, even with top-line growth potentially boosted by advertising recovery and AI investments, signals underlying profitability challenges. Investors are likely reacting to the discrepancy between revenue growth and profit generation, raising concerns about operational efficiency and future earnings potential.
