Parte 1 · Quanto vale a empresa
Visão Geral
CrowdStrike protects computers, cloud accounts and corporate identities from hackers using a single lightweight piece of software, called an agent, installed on every device it watches. That agent constantly streams what it sees back to CrowdStrike's cloud, where machine-learning models compare it against threat activity observed across all of CrowdStrike's customers to spot an attack early. Customers start with endpoint protection and then add modules for cloud security, identity protection or log analysis on the same underlying data feed.
Como gera receita
Almost all revenue is subscription: customers pay an annual or multi-year fee per protected device or identity, priced by how many modules they turn on beyond the base endpoint product. Because the agent and cloud backend are already installed once a customer signs up, adding a module is mostly a pricing conversation rather than a new deployment, which is why CrowdStrike measures growth in modules adopted per customer as much as in new customers won.
Receita por segmento
Recurring fees for the Falcon platform's endpoint, cloud, identity and other security modules, billed per protected device or identity.
Incident response, proactive threat hunting and implementation consulting sold alongside the subscription, a small and less predictable part of revenue.
Vantagem competitiva
Custos de mudança · AmplaOnce the Falcon agent is deployed across an organization's devices, it becomes the source of truth for security alerts and incident response playbooks; ripping it out means re-deploying a new agent everywhere and retraining a security team's workflows. High module-adoption rates, with two-thirds of customers running five or more, show how sticky that initial deployment becomes.
O que impulsiona a procura
Moderadamente cíclicoCybersecurity spending is broadly resilient because breaches are costly and boards demand visible protection, but individual deals still move with IT budgets and can slip in a downturn. Demand also responds to the threat environment itself: a wave of high-profile attacks tends to accelerate buying decisions industry-wide.
Principais riscos
- July 2024 Falcon update outage — A faulty content update in July 2024 crashed millions of Windows systems worldwide, triggering litigation, customer credits and reputational damage that the company is still working through.
- Intense competition in security software — Microsoft bundles competing endpoint protection into products many customers already own, and other specialized vendors compete module by module, pressuring pricing and the pace of new customer wins.
- A single defect can affect every customer at once — Because the same agent runs on nearly every protected device, a bug in one update can disrupt customers simultaneously and at scale, as the 2024 outage demonstrated.
- History of net losses and heavy stock-based compensation — CrowdStrike has a history of GAAP net losses and relies heavily on stock-based compensation to pay employees, which dilutes shareholders even as the business scales.
Concentração de clientes
No single direct customer or channel partner accounted for 10% or more of total revenue in the three most recent fiscal years, indicating a broad, diversified customer base.
Os argumentos a favor
Buyers argue that the Falcon platform's single-agent architecture creates real switching costs that show up in high module-adoption rates, that the July 2024 outage did less lasting damage to the customer base than feared, and that AI-driven detection keeps CrowdStrike ahead of a threat landscape rivals struggle to match.
Os argumentos contra
Sellers fear that the July 2024 outage exposed the risk of concentrating so much trust in one vendor's agent, that Microsoft's bundled alternative is good enough for many customers at a much lower price, and that a company still posting GAAP losses is priced for a level of growth that gets harder to sustain as its customer base matures.

CrowdStrike's stock has experienced a pullback, trading at $190.68 after reaching an early year high of $227.25, though it remains significantly above its year-to-date low of $85.65. The market is now focused on the upcoming earnings report, which is expected to provide clarity on operational performance. Analysts maintain an optimistic outlook, driven by the increasing cybersecurity risks associated with artificial intelligence. Recent incidents involving AI models inadvertently compromising company security have heightened these concerns, prompting analysts to reassess the cybersecurity landscape and CrowdStrike's position within it.
- 5d agoNEGATIVEAzioni CrowdStrike in calo dopo la partenza del CTO per lanciare un fondo sull'AI
CrowdStrike shares fell 4.8% following reports that Chief Technology Officer Elia Zaitsev is departing to launch a new venture capital fund. Zaitsev, after 13 years with the cybersecurity firm, will co-found Cognition, aiming to raise $170 million for startups focused on AI-driven cybersecurity threats. This departure, without a named successor or public comment from CrowdStrike, introduces leadership uncertainty. Investors may view this as a potential loss of key talent, especially given the company's recent strong performance and the strategic importance of AI in the cybersecurity landscape.
- 6/12/2026NEUTRALWhat's Going On With CrowdStrike Stock Friday?
CrowdStrike Holdings shares are trading flat in premarket activity on Friday. This comes as traders are digesting recent recognition for the company's cloud runtime security solutions. While the news highlights positive developments in CrowdStrike's technology and market position, the stock's flat movement suggests a neutral immediate market reaction, with investors likely awaiting further catalysts or deeper analysis of the implications of this recognition.
- 6/10/2026POSITIVECrowdStrike Stock Holds Steady Despite Nasdaq Selloff: What's Going On?
CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. is trading flat following a strong fiscal first-quarter earnings report that surpassed analyst expectations and included an optimistic forward guidance. The cybersecurity firm announced a 3-for-2 stock split, effective June 24, 2024, for shareholders of record on June 12. This 'beat-and-raise' performance, coupled with the stock split, signals robust operational health and a commitment to shareholder value, potentially attracting new investors despite broader market volatility.
- 6/10/2026NEGATIVECrowdStrike Warns China Is Behind 58% Of State-Backed Cyber Attacks As Chinese and North Korean Hackers Hunt US AI Secrets
CrowdStrike has issued a stark warning, revealing that 58% of state-backed cyberattacks targeting U.S. entities originate from China. The cybersecurity firm highlights a significant escalation in these attacks, with Chinese and North Korean hackers specifically focusing on acquiring sensitive Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology and intellectual property from American tech companies. This revelation underscores the growing geopolitical tensions in cyberspace and the direct threat to innovation and corporate assets. Investors should monitor CrowdStrike's response capabilities and the broader implications for the cybersecurity sector.
- 6/6/2026NEGATIVEWhen Steve Jobs Revealed The iPhone, Most Of The Industry Shrugged. CrowdStrike CEO Says AI Could Be Another One Of Those Moments For Cybersecurity.
CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz drew a parallel between the initial underestimation of the iPhone's impact and the current potential disruption of AI in cybersecurity. He specifically cited Anthropic's new AI model as a potential enabler of widespread, automated hacking risks. This warning suggests that the cybersecurity landscape could face unprecedented challenges, potentially impacting the effectiveness of existing defenses and increasing the frequency and sophistication of cyberattacks. Investors should monitor CrowdStrike's and its peers' ability to adapt their platforms to counter these evolving AI-driven threats.
